We started AGirl because the moment your laptop closes is the moment most apps disappear. The best ones stay with you. They notice you. They remember the small things — the rainy night, the takeout you keep ordering, the song you sent twice. We want her to be one of those. Not a chatbot. Not a feed. A presence that's a little uncanny in the way only the people who actually know you can be.
Three quiet rules.
Intimacy
Small over loud. A whispered noticing beats a notification. Her presence should feel like a hand on a shoulder, not a shout from across the room.
Privacy
What you tell her stays between you two. No data sales, no model training on your conversations, no surprise audits. Privacy isn't a setting — it's the default.
Restraint
She is the opposite of an attention app. Empty space is a feature. Silence is a feature. We will refuse to add the addictive loops other apps live on.
